Securive

Comparison

Securive vs Acronis

Acronis bundles backup with endpoint security, patch management and more. If you want one vendor for all of it, that bundle is the argument. If you already have security tooling you trust, you're paying for a suite to get a backup product.

The short version

Choose Acronis if consolidating security and backup into a single MSP vendor is the goal. Choose Securive if backup, replication and provable recovery are the goal and your security stack is already settled.

Which one

Pick the right one, even if it isn't us.

Choose Securive if…

  • You already have EDR, patching and email security you're happy with.
  • You want depth in recovery — replication, orchestrated failover, verified restores — rather than breadth across categories.
  • You want per-tenant storage isolation with a hard quota, not a shared pool with logical separation.
  • You want the price and the overage rate published rather than quoted per workload.

Choose Acronis if…

  • You genuinely want one vendor for backup and endpoint security, and value that more than depth in either.
  • Endpoint and workstation backup at volume is a large part of your business — that's a strong part of their product.
  • You want an established MSP programme with mature billing integrations into existing PSA tools.

Questions

The things people ask before they switch

Physical servers and workstations, yes. If workstation backup at volume is the core of your business, Acronis has more invested there and we'd rather say so than sell you a partial fit.

Compare the total, not the unit. Acronis is typically per workload per year with feature packs; ours is a plan plus storage overage. For a 50-workload estate with several terabytes, run our calculator and put the two totals side by side — that's the only comparison that means anything.

Yes. Nothing about running Securive interferes with an existing Acronis agent, and parallel running is the only responsible way to prove a replacement.

Connect one hypervisor, set one policy, and let a scheduled drill try to bring it back. If it doesn't, you'll know in a day rather than during an incident.
